How do I check in?

Your property will be open and your key will be inside.

I’ve just arrived. How do I find my accommodation?

Directions to your property can be found in your arrival information email, which should also include a map. You can access the map here

Do I need to bring anything with me?

All necessary items such as bed linen, towels, toilet paper, and washing supplies are included. Please note that while we strive to supply enough toilet paper and washing up supplies for your stay, if you run out, you will need to source additional supplies on your own.

I’ve run out of toilet paper/cleaning supplies, how do I get more?

Are dogs allowed?

Pets are welcome in Upper Cliff 3, Upper Cliff 4, Lower Cliff 6, Lower Cliff 11, Lower Cliff 13, Lower Cliff 18, and Reef Lodge at prior arrangement only.

Please ensure dogs are kept on leads whilst on The Estate.

We kindly request that pets be kept off beds and upholstery, and ensure that all traces of hair are removed upon departure.

Is smoking allowed?

Smoking is not permitted in any of the properties or grounds of The Estate.

How do I connect to the Wi-Fi?

Simply connect to ‘The Penn Estate’ through your WiFi settings. This is an open network so no password will be required.

My TV isn’t working, what do I do?

Your TV works through Wi-Fi, therefore if you are having issues, it is likely due to the Wi-Fi connection. You can re-connect by following the instructions on the TV. You can also find TV operating instructions in the ‘Unit Guide’ section of this site.

How do I access Freeview channels on my TV?

Please note that you will not be able to access Freeview or Freesat on this television due to the local Ariel connection. Therefore, only app-based services are available.

My hot water/heating isn’t working, what do I do?

Please refer to the operating Instructions on the property User Guide.

How do I work the electric fire?

Instructions for operating the fire in your property should be next to the fire.

Where do my bins go when they are full?

If the bins inside your property are full, there are bins outside of the property you can place these in. General rubbish is collected every Monday and Friday from the black bin outside your property.

Please ensure waste and recycling are kept separate. Recycling is to be placed in the clear bin liner provided under your sink.

If you wish to take any recycling to the recycling area yourself, you will find this located on the road as you drive through the main black gates.

Please do not leave any bin bags outside the bins as seagulls will attack.

Can I hire a BBQ?

BBQ’s can be hired for £50 for your entire stay. If you would like one, please visit the office to arrange.

Please note, we do not permit the use of your own BBQ’s being used on site.

Can I request a late checkout/early check-in?

Amendments to check-in and check-out times are subject to availability. Please contact us in the office by emailing office@thepennestate.co.uk or by calling us on 01305820918 to make your request.

Can I access the beach from The Estate?

There is no access directly from The Estate to the beach. The beach can be accessed via a path located just outside of The Estate. You can find this by walking right after you leave The Estate car park.

What time is the office open?

The office is open from 9am – 5pm.

Is it possible to leave my luggage somewhere before/after I check in/out?

We unfortunately do not have the facilities to hold luggage.
